I'm looking, and hoping that you might be albe to help me, for a good german website where I can start my search in germany. Hello! Why did you change Leningrad to Sankt Petersburg in my page? Before 1991 it's name was Leningrad, and we in Russia trying to not to forget, when and how our cities was renamed =) Is it OK if I change it back to Leningrad? --AntonioK 15:05, 10. Feb. 2013 (EET)

Sorry for that, i thought that in German translation it would be better to take the new official Name of Sankt Petersburg, so if you don't like that i will change it back!

No problem! =) The reason is that nowadays Saint-Petersburg and the past Leningrad is not the same cities: they have different territory (borders, artificial territories, etc.) a little. Ich bin ein Mitglied von Rodovid Fr, und ich habe ein kleines Problem wenn ich einige deutsche Seiten lese. Zum Beispiel mit Karl dem Grossen sieht man auf die französische Version für die Geburt : entre 2 avril 742 et 2 avril 747 (zwischen 2 April 742 und 2 April 747). Aber auf die deutsche Version liest man nur : zw 2 April 742 (ohne das zweite Datum).

Grüß Gott, Entschuldigung, mein Deutsch ist nur durchschnittlich, so dass ich auf Englisch schreiben; I sow you modify the familly name of some recods on greman pages, as for exemple : René d'Elbeuf , for french, René have set-uped a new House named "House of Elbeuf" so in this case I had to add the name "Elbeuf" to his familly name, otherwise what this house (or branche) will be added and mixed-up with all of the Guise (or Loraine) Familly, and It become much more difficult to find duplicated records and have a clear view on houses and branches due to all the mix between Branches/Houses/Mistakes/Fantasy. (The mane sould be Elbeuf or Guise-Elbeuf or Lorraine-Elbeuf).

On my French side, I've created a page to standerdize Houses and Branches names here , maybe you could correct this, up-date and duplicate this on the german side ? What du you think about ? VG --Charles 14:13, 8. Aug. 2015 (EEST)

Guten Tag!
Ich bin ein Mitglied von dem französischen Rodovid, und wir haben eine E-mail vom einem Leser empfangen, der die Seite Laszlo Albert Hidvegi es Oltszeni Grof Nemes (Nemes, b. 18 September 1896 d. 23 Dezember 1965) bemerkt hat. Er ist an die Familie Nemes / Wodianer sehr interessiert, die in seinem Dorf (Komjat) ein schönes Schloss gebaut hatte (vor seiner Zerstörung während des zweiiten Weltkrieges).

Hallo, I've undone the Lineage (Sippe) update you done on Ferdinand de la Cerda (La Cerda, b. 4 Januar 1255 d. 25 Juli 1275); you used "Burgund-Ivrea" (from his father's house) where all other languages used "La Cerda" (the house he generated) for Lineage, thus the engine thought this was the same family/house where is not (making a kind of 'bridge' beween the houses in the familly record). I'm not in favor or disfavor of your update, just I just want to avoid the 'bridges' between families or houses who generate some huge 'bulk' familly that I'm trying to clearify. So, if you want to update this entry or anotherone, I (we?) will appreciate if you harmonize all languages to avoid this. Kind Regards,--Charles 23:26, 2. Nov. 2019 (EET)

Hallo Metro, wieso hast du die ganzen Ortsnamen aus Pommern geändert? Ich habe immer die zu dem Ereignis aktuelle Version gewählt, also bei Ereignissen in Pommern vor 1945 den deutschen Namen. Und es sieht auch sehr merkwürdig aus, wenn z.B. bei einen Eintrag "Łupawa (Potęgowo), Landkreis Stolp, Provinz Pommern" steht, also ein polnischer Gemeindename, aber dann deutsche Kreis- und Provinzbezeichnungen.

Ich bitte daher um eine mich überzeugende Begründung für die Änderungen, ansonsten bitte ich darum, diese Änderungen in Zukunft nicht mehr vorzunehmen.
