I just saw that this database contains a couple of records concerning family "Scherfer". Looking for "Julius Scherfer" or Schärfer/Schaerfer and his ancestors I hope to get some help from the forum. There are not at lot of details I can offer, but

Julius Scherfer

• ca 1830-1840, in Galkowek near Lodz

1. wife: Carolina Roeske (Karoline Röske)

From hearsay I got the hint that he had a brother named "Samuel Scherfer" which disappeared. There IS some Samuel Scherfer (also born in Galkowek!) in this DB. Has somebody additional informations about this person?

ich suche Vorfahren/Verwandte meine Urgroßvaters "Julius Scherfer, geboren in Galkowek/Polen (s.o.). Er soll einen Bruder Samuel gehabt haben. Diesen Namen finde ich hier (ebenfalls in Gakowek geboren!), brauche aber weitere Angaben über beide Personen. Kann mir jemand helfen?
