Bursitus in the shoulder joints. and arthuritus in the left ankle which he broke in 1970. Cateracts before 50 y.o. had implants done.
Married his first wife Darlene F. Tillotson while he was still in the Air Force basic training. He and his wife moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where they had their son Harry L. Criswell Jr.. After four years they moved to Fort Worth Texas. They lived there for two years then moved to Sacramento California. After six years in California Harry and Darlene were separated and in 1973 were divorced. Harry remarried in 1975 to Judy Hooser who had two children from a previous marriage. They moved to Fargo, North Dakota and lived on base until shortly befor he retired from the Air Force in 1981. Then they moved to Pahrump, Nevada where both Harry and Judy managed the local Golf Course. In 1994 after Harry's mother died he and Judy moved back to his home town Danville, Pensilvania. With in 6 - 8 mo of moving back to PA, after finding a job in Palm Springs, CA, Both Harry and Judy moved back to CA in March 1995. Where they managed a condominium. In 2000 Harry & Judy left Palm Desert and moved to Missouri where they lived with their Daughter Robyn and her family in a basement apartment. After about a year of enjoying living with and watching their grand children grow up, they decided it was time to move back to Palm Desert where Harry was able to step back into his old position with the management of condos.
