Joan Trelawny was the wife of William Hawkins, son of John and Joan (Amados) Hawkins. Joan was the only daughter of Roger Trelawny of Brightorre, and an heiress. Roger Trelawny was the son of Sir John Trelawny and Blanche Pownde. Joan Towne Trelawny and William Hawkins married around 1529.
