WARNER DFA4058-6 lists her father as Bruno (Bishop of Augsburg) whose father is identified alternately as Henry II or Conrad II of Burgandy [son of Henry II] and Mother Gisele of Suabia (daughter of Herman II of Suabia and Gerberga of Burgandy). Upon closer examination however, the Warner claims are problematic and the best solution is presented in Butlers Lives of the Saints which presents Algithe as the sister of Saint Emeric (and daughter of Saint Gisele).
